Ryan Beasley named to Legal Elite of the Upstate

[nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-4″] has been named a Legal Elite of the Upstate for 2020 in the Criminal Law category.

A South Carolina native, Beasley graduated from Wofford College and then earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2000. He served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John C. Few and then worked as an Assistant Solicitor with the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office and before eventually practicing law at Price, Ashmore & Beasley PA and then opening [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″]. At [nap_names id=”FIRM-NAME-1″], Beasley focuses on criminal law.

Beasley is also the former president and current member of Greenville Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is currently a member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Carolina Association of Justice, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association.

Since 2012, Greenville Business Magazine has honored Greenville attorneys by publishing its Legal Elite, which is the only award program in the region that gives every active attorney the opportunity to participate. The methodology is that while attorneys are allowed to nominate members of their own firm, for each in-firm nomination made, there had to be an out-of-firm nomination.

The lists are determined solely by lawyers’ votes from our legal elite nomination form online; places on the list are not for sale. Beasley previously has been named to the list each year since 2013.

“I don’t practice law to win awards,” Beasley said. “But to be recognized by my peers for my works is something I am proud of.”
